1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using ZPortal ("the Application"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provisions of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by these terms, please do not use this service.

2. User Responsibilities & Conduct

As a user of ZPortal, you agree to the following conditions when utilizing our community features, notes, and infrastructure:

• Account Security: You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your Google account credentials. Do not share your login authorization with anyone.
• Appropriate Content: When sharing "Public Notes" or attachments to the Community Notes board, you must strictly abstain from uploading malicious executables, unauthorized copyrighted material, or any content that contravenes the Zhonghua Secondary School code of conduct.
• Respectful Interaction: Any feedback submitted via the Support portal must be constructive and free of abusive or harassing language.
• Platform Integrity & Security: You shall not attempt to disrupt the service, bypass cryptographic security measures, execute Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) or SQL Injection payloads, manipulate UI styling (CSS Injections), scrape data, or access data belonging to other users. Any attempt to compromise the platform's infrastructure will result in immediate and permanent suspension.

3. Artificial Intelligence (ZHSS AI) Services

ZPortal integrates advanced Cloud Artificial Intelligence via a secure, server-side proxy. By utilizing ZHSS AI, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

• Generative Nature: The AI generates responses based on probabilistic language models. While engineered for high logical accuracy, ZPortal explicitly disclaims any warranties regarding the absolute factual correctness of the output.
• Independent Verification: Users must independently verify all critical academic information, scheduling deadlines, or facts provided by the AI.
• Academic Integrity: ZHSS AI is provisioned strictly as a study aid. Utilizing the AI to generate content intended to bypass Zhonghua Secondary School's academic integrity or anti-plagiarism policies is strictly prohibited.

4. Third-Party Integrations

Google Workspace API

ZPortal utilizes Google APIs to synchronize and display your classroom data directly on the dashboard. Your use of this integration is governed by the Google Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. ZPortal maintains strict, authorized read-only access and possesses no capability to alter or submit your Google Classroom coursework.

Our dashboard and global news feeds contain links to external web properties (such as official school timetables or news syndications). We do not own or control these external sites and are not responsible for their content, privacy policies, or availability.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. While we utilize rigorous server-side caching and parallel data fetching to ensure high availability, we make no guarantees regarding absolute completeness, real-time reliability, or uninterrupted service. You remain fully responsible for independently verifying your assignment deadlines, exam dates, and official school schedules.

6. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall ZPortal, its developers, or its administrators be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. This includes, without limitation, missed academic assignments, loss of digital notes, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to, use of, or inability to use the service.

7. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time to reflect new architectural features or policy updates. By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
